SERVING the Community

“Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many”

- Matthew 20:28

Discipleship is a balance of learning truth and applying it in our lives. We want to provide space for our students to live out what they are learning in the classroom. The THRIVE program is a unique balance of classroom learning and opportunity for practical application. Students will be actively engaged in the Church and the Community in various service and volunteer opportunities. We invite our students to come and serve alongside us. As we walk alongside our students, we desire to empower and equip them as leaders and as a generation of servant-hearted people.

Serving, is a key component of discipleship. To serve others, is to step out into our world, as the body of Christ, and following in the footsteps of Jesus. Jesus invites his followers to be world changers, and it all begins with simple acts of service and love. Just as we have been invited into a loving relationship with Christ Jesus, we get go into our world and extend that same invitation to those around us. Our students will not only learn how to speak the Gospel, but they will also learn how to genuinely live it out!

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20
